Transhumanza is a collective formed by Ambra Iride Sechi (1992), Dario Sanna (1996), and Matteo Orani (1993).
Their practice is defined by fieldwork and multidisciplinary research, addressing social, political, and ecological issues. With a focus on visual art and curatorial practices, their work takes shape through photography, video, installation, and publishing.
They have showcased their work and collaborated with independent spaces and institutions, including: Ateliers Jeanne Barret (2025, Marseille, FR), Gallerie Macca (2023, Cagliari, IT), Nocivelli Prize (2023, Verolanuova, IT), DAS (2023, Bologna, IT), Ottovolante Sulcis (2022, Sardinia, IT), Sa Manifattura and La Quadriennale di Roma (2022, Cagliari, IT), and Toast Project Space (2020, Florence, IT).
Since 2024, after working between Sardinia and Italy, they are now based in Marseille.
